Background on album

We set ourselves a few challenges for this album. Nick and Clarky had always wanted to write a rock opera, and although it won't sound like an opera the album has a theme and the music will flow naturally throughout the whole album, rather than being many stand-alone tracks. The concept is based on the Seven Ages of Man speech from William Shakespeare's As You Like It.

Progress

You'll be pleased to know that after a year and a half in the making, the album is finally finished. Well, the writing anyway. And we're not wasting any time. As of Monday 14 November, we've been laying it down in the studio with the man and legend Jeff Rose.

We've been running through it, tweaking where we feel necessary but we are definitely happy with how it's turned out and we can't wait to hear it blasting through Jeff's sonic boom sound system.

We've all taken a solmn oath to keep as much as possible about this album TOP SECRET and as of yet the only thing we have given away is the album name The Seven Rages of Man! And of course you have Gareth's track introductions to whet your appetities. We want to leave this one a mystery until it's release so that the first listen will be an experience on more levels than just music.

We would like to thank you for all your support throughout the past two years. Without your help raising funds and your kind donations we wouldn't be in the studio making history.

So, brace yourself fuckers! The end is near. It's been a long time coming. Your patience will soon be rewarded.

We'll be adding more photos from our time at Junkyard Studios

Album artwork

G will be designing our album cover and what we have seen so far is amazing. We are really looking forward to the final product and, after looking at some of his artwork, you will be too. G's a close friend and an amazing artist/musician. He has played a few gigs with us in the past, some of you may know him as Soulscience. You can check his artwork out here.
